Wilcox Environmental Engineering is pleased to announce the promotion of Lacy Smith, to Northern Midwest Regional Director(NWRD). Lacy joined Wilcox in 2016 as the Director of Data & Graphics Services Division, which she will continue to serve as in her newly expanded role. Lacy’s new role entails the overall management of the Wilcox Wisconsin office, along with assisting business development efforts in growing due diligence, investigation and remediation, and data and graphics services in the upper-Midwest.
Lacy has a BS in Geology and an MA in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College. Lacy brings more than 12 years of experience in the Environmental Consulting and Data Management field. For the past eight years, she has specialized in environmental data management and visualization. Lacy has experience in data management system development and implementation as well as project management and workflow analysis. Lacy’s professional experience also includes geology/hydrogeology, specializing in subsurface investigations, delineation of contaminant plumes, aquifer testing, groundwater modeling, and technical QA/QC.
