Jacob is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology and a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Management. While at Ball State, Jacob was a Site Manager/Research Assistant, managing a class of undergraduate and graduate students in the continued remediation of a former automotive salvage brownfield site in Muncie, IN. Jacob’s graduate research investigated the relationship between pharmaceutical and heavy metal concentrations and antibiotic resistance gene abundance in bacteria in wastewater sludge. Jacob comes to us with experience in water, air, and biological sampling and analysis.
