Senior Consultant
Derek holds a degree in geology from Louisiana Tech University and was most recently employed as the Manager for Environmental Programs Directorate at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. At the LANL, he served as the Waste Services Manager and the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Operations Manager. Before moving to the southwest, Derek was a Branch Manager and Environmental Group Manager in Fort Wayne for eight years. Previously, Derek held environmental consulting positions in Texas, California, Oregon, and Colorado, which included work at several high-profile remediation sites. He has managed environmental site investigations and site assessments, remedial actions, brownfield assessments, RCRA RFIs and Expedited Cleanups, emergency responses, hazardous waste identification, waste management transport and disposal operations, unexploded ordnance sweeps, and UST removals throughout the west, south, and Midwest. In addition to his Branch Manager duties, Derek will be a Sr. Project Manager for the Investigation and Remediation Services Division and assist in developing new business.
