Mike King, a Project Engineer at Astbury and a sergeant in the Indiana National Guard, is deploying to southern Afghanistan with 70 other members of the 76^th Infantry Brigade Combat Team based in Lawrence, Indiana.  Mike’s unit will work with members of the Australian military to train Afghan army units in security and reconstruction methods and provide logistical support for other U.S. Military units in the area.  We wish Mike the best and look forward to his safe return in late 2012 or early 2013.
